looking for experienced Systems Engineers with the ability to
assume a lead role to support our Combat Vehicle and Naval Guns

benefits. This position is currently working 2-3 days / week
on-site and up to 2 days / week remotely on a 9/80 schedule with
every other Friday out of our Minneapolis, MN site.As a Principal
Systems Engineer, you will:
- Lead or support requirements development and management.
- Develop and manage subsystem and component performance
specifications by analyzing and deriving necessary
requirements.
- Develop and maintain requirements verification and compliance,
and supporting artifacts.
- Support requirements decomposition analysis to help drive
concept architectures and system characteristics.
- Lead and facilitate architecture development of assigned
system, subsystems, and components.
- Lead development and maintenance of interface requirements and
interface design information for assigned sub-system, system and
components.
- Document concept design decisions and support generating
System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability
assessments.
- Coordinate and facilitate formal decisions and trade studies to
drive design and document results.
- Support the execution and monitoring of cost, schedule, and
risk.
- Coordinate Systems Engineering activities to influence the
design.
- Support vehicle level Systems Engineering activities and
program milestone reviews.Here is a video to give you an idea about

- Bachelor's degree in engineering and 6+ year's relevant
experience.
- We may consider candidates with less experience for a more
junior role or more experience for a more senior role.
- Systems engineering experience performing requirements
analysis, derivation and allocation, and translating requirements
to viable concepts design solutions within applicable
constraints.
- Experience developing architecture concepts and evaluating
alternatives.
- Ability to balance system design considering system concept of
operations (CONOPS), performance, constraints, and logistics
concerns.
- Ability to plan, conduct and document complex trade
studies.
- Ability to generate System / Subsystem Design Descriptions and
capability assessments per the program statement of work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this
specific position requires US citizenship status.Preferred
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical
Engineering with a Master's degree in Systems Engineering.
- Experience with military vehicle systems.
- Logical architecture experience, including development of use
cases.
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including
SysML methodology and tools like Cameo.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework
(DoDAF).
- Experience with DOORS requirements management tool.
- Have and maintain INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering
Professional (CSEP) certification.
- Leadership and mentoring of younger engineers.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
